Really enjoyed our stay - absolutely prime location and beautiful home :))

This place was stunning - really beautifully furnished, extremely well equipped kitchen and so well appointed for a new air bnb. The construction noise we couldn’t really hear the house is set back from the road and the house is well insulated. The ducted heating was fantastic but a tad hard to figure out how to turn on. The only downsides to the house were the extremely long pin to get into the house and the gate itself which you only have 45 seconds to unlock from the inside get yourself organized and out, there’s no way to open from the outside. (We have a toddler)Thankfully the gate broke whilst we were there which was actually very handy just having it open but at the cost of construction workers who could see right into the property. The manager sent a maintenance man around to try and fix the issue but I highly recommend a remote be issued to the guest staying, and consider a 4-6 digit pin for ease. We still had a fantastic time, location is brilliant and beautiful home.

Overall, a nice place to stay. There was some construction noise from across the street during the day, but not to bad and quiet at night.

I had a wonderful stay here and would happily return. The location is fantastic, close to everything you need while still feeling peaceful and private. The home itself is beautifully laid out, with lovely natural light and all-day sun that made it such a pleasant place to relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole space felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. I also felt very safe and secure throughout our stay, which made it easy to settle in and feel right at home. A great property in a great location, highly recommended!

FAQs

Why book direct with Stayhub instead of an OTA?

Booking direct means no third-party or platform booking fee on top of your stay, plus our best available rate and a genuinely hosted experience. You deal with us the whole way, before, during and after your stay. A cleaning fee and the Guest Experience Levy still apply, on any channel, and both are shown to you before you book.

Are the fees shown before I book?

Yes. Short stays, no surprises. The property page shows the nightly rate, the cleaning fee, the Guest Experience Levy and GST, so you see the full price before you go anywhere near a payment screen.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Most homes are ready for check-in from 2pm and ask that you check out by 10am. Exact times are shown on each property page, and we will always confirm the details before you arrive.

Is check-in self-service or in person?

Most stays offer easy self check-in so you can arrive on your own schedule. If a home works differently, it is clearly explained in your booking confirmation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms are shown on each property before you book, so you know exactly where you stand. If plans change, get in touch and we will help where we can.

Is there a minimum stay?

Some homes have a minimum number of nights, especially over weekends and peak dates. The property page shows the minimum stay when you check your dates.

Can I get help during my stay?

Always. Our guest support team is here 7 days a week. Real people, ready to help, with no queues and no scripts.

Are your properties really as described?

Yes. Every home is quality-checked and accurately described, with honest photos. What you see is what you stay in.

Where does Stayhub have properties?

We are Auckland based, with homes right across the city and a growing set of New Zealand destinations including Tauranga, Taupo and Rotorua.

Do you take a security deposit?

Most homes have a refundable bond, shown separately from your stay total because it is not part of what you pay. It is a hold on your card, not a charge: no money is taken unless something is damaged. After you book we will ask you to approve the hold, and it is placed 3 days before you arrive, or straight away if you are arriving sooner than that. It is released 3 days after you check out, provided all is well. For stays of 30 nights or more the bond is charged rather than held, and refunded on the same timing.
